Summer Daze Charity Fashion Show 2010
Brunel Students organise summer event in aid of Cancer Community Centre.

This summer we welcome you to Brunel University’s one and only Summer Daze Fashion Show in aid of the Community Cancer Centre in Yiewsley. The Centre has worked hard in recent years to raise enough money to continue offering a friendly support service for cancer patients, their families and carers. This year a group of Brunel University students have come together to raise funds for the Centre that will enable them to extend their support service to further regions.

Avina Patel, project manager for the show, has worked alongside a team of 15 other students to make this a hugely successful event. The team have had the opportunity to work with top class model coach and BEFFTA award winner, Matthew Francis (Mr Fierce) from the London School of Modelling. The event will include a fashion show with clothing provided by local stores, boutiques and designers, a pampering suite offering treatments and advice, a silent auction and raffle with prizes donated by local companies and guest appearances from celebrities.
Natalie Edwards project co-ordinator at the Community Cancer Centre said “The staff, volunteers and users of the Centre are in awe at the tireless energy and fantastic ideas the student team have come up with. We are all extremely excited at what promises to be a superbly memorable event. We are very grateful indeed.”
We welcome you to join us on the 31st May 2010 in the Newton Room at Brunel University. Ticket prices start at £15; this includes entry to the main event, pamper room and after party. Guest of Honour tickets will guarantee front row seats to the show, priority entry to the pamper room, professional photographs and prints, separate VIP area in the after party and champagne.
